CEV Rebate
The New Car Dealers Clean BC Go Electric Program is up and running and Metro Ford in Port Coquitlam is proud to be a part of this exciting new program! With many new Ford vehicles qualifying for up to $4000.00 in after-tax rebates, Metro Ford is committed to reducing the carbon footprint by making these incentives available to our customers.
How Does the Program Work?
Customers and businesses interested in applying for the rebate simply submit an application online to determine eligibility. Once an application has been completed, it’s only a short time before you will be contacted via email with your incentive certificate. This certificate will provide you with your eligible rebate amount (dependant on the type of Clean Go Electric vehicle you plan to purchase). Simply bring your pre-approved rebate level certificate to Metro Ford and find the perfect qualifying vehicle that suits all your needs and exceeds all your expectations while helping reduce the carbon footprint.
Who Can Qualify for the Rebate?
Recent changes to the program make high-income earners (over $100,000 annually for an individual and $165,000 annually for household) ineligible for incentives. Individuals interested in applying for full or partial rebates are subject to income verification through the British Columbia government’s website.
Which Vehicles Qualify for the Program?
The New Car Dealers Clean BC Go Electric Program is very simple. Eligible vehicles include:
- Electric vehicles (EV) which include battery electric vehicles (BEV)
- Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV)
- Extended range electric vehicles (ER-EV)
- Hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV)
