Certified Journeyman Technician

Magnuson Ford is currently looking for a Automotive Service Technician to join their team. If you’re motivated, care about customers, passionate about the automotive industry then we are looking for you.

**Diesel/Medium Duty experience is an asset and will be compensated accordingly**

What it takes to be part of our dynamic team:

  • Ford Trained an asset (training will be paid with all costs covered)
  • Possess strong diagnostic and problem solving skills, with attention to detail to ensure delivery of high quality work.
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment without constant supervision
  • Working knowledge and understanding of automotive equipment.
  • Have dedication, resourcefulness, and the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Have good interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively work and communicate with other members of the Service Department team.
  • Have a valid British Columbia driver’s license, with ability to present clean drivers abstract.

Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications
  • Estimate parts and labour costs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust units to specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor
  • Provide customer service

Magnuson Ford is looking to hire a Sales and Lease Representative to join our team. This position is full-time and includes medical and dental benefits. Our busy Abbotsford location has high volume of new and used vehicles and Sales Representatives get every other weekend off.

Qualifications include:

– ability to demonstrate excellent customer service

– prior vehicle sales knowledge

– Ford product knowledge (asset not required)

– VSA licence
